Hi, my name is Osbaldo.

We are a couple based in California who grew up in families that truly enjoy the simple pleasures of life — especially sharing meals and enjoying the foods we’ve loved all our lives.

But suddenly, those simple pleasures changed.

My wife Lorena began experiencing bloating, pain, and discomfort after almost every meal. What started as occasional discomfort quickly became a daily struggle. Breakfast, lunch, dinner — foods we had eaten our entire lives were suddenly making her feel sick.

We visited several doctors searching for answers. Eventually, we were told that Lorena had become gluten intolerant and would need to eliminate gluten from her diet moving forward.

At first, adapting to this new reality felt overwhelming. There was very little support, no clear step-by-step guidance, and it felt as if we were suddenly restricted from enjoying the foods and traditions we had grown up with. It felt like we had to give up the meals we loved just to avoid the pain that gluten was causing.

But we refused to believe that living gluten-free meant losing the joy of food.

Through reading books, researching online, speaking with doctors and nutritionists, and experimenting in our own kitchen, we slowly began to discover something important — living gluten-free does not have to mean living with restrictions.

It simply means learning new ways to enjoy the foods and experiences you love.

That journey led us to create MyGlutenFreeHub — a place where we share what we’ve learned and where others can find answers, guidance, and support.

A place where people can connect, learn, and feel part of a community. A place where no one has to feel alone, confused, or lost while navigating the challenges of living gluten-free.
